We are deeply saddened to announce that from 9am on Wednesday 1st April 2026, we will no longer be able to accept new referrals to our Adult Counselling Service.
Please refer to our longer announcement for more information. We are reviewing this on a continued basis, with our first review starting the week commencing 25th May 2026.
💡 What Is a Referral?
A referral is when someone—such as a professional, support worker, or even a trusted person—connects you with our charity’s services because they believe we can help. It’s a way of making sure you get the right support, safely and smoothly.
📝 How the Referral Process Works
- Who Can Refer You?
You can be referred by:- Your GP, therapist, or healthcare professional
- Your social worker or support worker
- Your teacher, counsellor or school staff member
- Yourself (self-referral is welcome!)
- What Happens Next?
Once we receive your referral:- We’ll review the information to understand your needs
- A member of our team will contact you to talk through next steps
- We’ll explain what support we can offer and how to get started 👍🏾
- Is It Confidential?
Of course. We value your trust and your privacy. All referrals are handled with care and confidentiality. We only use the information to help you access the right support.
