Recruitment & Selection Statement
RSVP is committed to equality and valuing diversity.
This includes a commitment within our recruitment and selection processes, where we welcome applications from across the community and actively encourage applicants with a protected characteristic to join our bold, believing & big-hearted team.
RSVP believes that survivor voice is vital and central to everything that we do.

We are committed to ensuring that individuals subjected to sexual violence and abuse are involved at every level of our organisation. Therefore, we welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of sexual trauma who also meet the person specification, so we can work together, engage and amplify survivors’ voices throughout all our work.

Treasurer (Board of Trustees)
The Treasurer is an officer of the RSVP Board of Trustees. The role of the Treasurer is to ensure that the finances and supporting financial control systems are kept in order. The Treasurer is not a bookkeeper, nor is it a paid position. The Treasurer does not hold or maintain the financial records and does not have sole control of the cheque book. The Treasurer delegates the day-to-day financial management of the Charity to the CEO.
Please see the Treasurer role description below for further details.
Please email Rachel (Chair of Trustees) on rachel@rsvporg.co.uk to request an application form.
Helpline & Webchat Support Volunteers
The telephone Helpline and online Webchat are two of our most crucial services. They provide essential support to survivors and their loved ones to help get in touch with RSVP. That’s why volunteers fully trained by us and work 3 hour shift per week to provide empathetic, informed care. We encourage all volunteers to commit for at least 6 months.
Helpline & Webchat recruitment takes place twice a year, with full training provided. The training takes place across four days over 4 weeks. Our next scheduled training dates will be released towards the end of 2026 and all sessions will be held in person.
Are you willing to be the voice of RSVP? Apply to be a helpline or webchat volunteer by filling out the form below. Kindly email the completed application form and return to: info@rsvporg.co.uk and we’ll be in touch.
